Agiloft's procurement value lies in making the contract process easier to use and easier to change. Its CLM workflow and Astra contract AI are related offers, but starting an AI review is a different task from running a governed contracting process.
Vendor at a glance
What is Agiloft? A configurable contract lifecycle management software provider. This assessment covers supplier contracting in Agiloft CLM and the currently described Astra review and analysis offer. It does not assess the wider sourcing functionality. CLM platform, Astra.
What work does it support? Contract requests, document records, reviews, approvals, obligation tasks and renewals. WOP classifies the assessed scope as contract management, primarily workflow/control, with record and intelligence as overlapping roles.
How does Astra relate to CLM? The current Astra page offers standalone access and says CLM customers receive access through the AI on the Inside package. It lists a free tier with 1,000 monthly analysis credits and up to three custom playbooks. Word review and redlining do not consume credits; analysis does. This does not establish free access to the full CLM process. Astra packaging and credits.
What do the operating documents show? The A2508 standard-system guide distinguishes approval, review and informational notification. It documents auto-approval and user choices about restarting a review after changes. Obligation extraction creates linked records from which users can create tasks. These are documented defaults, rather than verified settings in a live customer account. Approvals, Obligations.
What customer data is available? The vendor-published RUSH University Medical Center account reports average contract processing falling from 70 days to around 30, 80% less dollar volume of off-process vendor payments, and 20% fewer net new purchase orders. These are different measures; none establishes a 20% or 80% reduction in total supplier spend. RUSH case.
What does deployment involve? The CLM page illustrates a 14-week sequence ending in go-live and hypercare, with duration varying by complexity, integrations and migration. The integration page recommends Agiloft services or a certified partner for initial implementation. No-code configuration still needs process design and maintained rules. Deployment sequence, Integration and implementation.
