Vendor at a glance

What is ctrl+s? ctrl+s supplies software for upstream Scope 3 carbon accounting and supplier engagement. Its legal notice identifies ctrl+s GmbH in Berlin, Germany. WOP assesses the procurement use: estimating supply-chain emissions, improving the underlying data and working with suppliers on reduction measures.

What the software does. Carbon Accounting builds a baseline from procurement data and shows hotspots by category, supplier, region and product. Supplier Engagement collects supplier information, tracks progress and provides AI-enriched reduction recommendations. WOP places it in carbon management, with related data records and supplier workflows.

Useful product figures. The supplier assessment is capped at 19 questions. ctrl+s states a 60–70% supplier invitation response rate, without the underlying sample or period shown on the reviewed product page. Its company page reports more than 45 customers and 15,000 engaged suppliers. These are provider-stated usage figures, not measures of emissions accuracy or carbon reduction.

What the customer evidence says. The customer page attributes supplier reduction planning and sourcing discussions to Siemens, and preparation of a supply-chain emissions disclosure to ENERVIE. The accounts establish reported uses; they do not quantify independently validated emissions reductions.

Commercial access. ctrl+s offers demos without numerical enterprise prices on the reviewed pages. The supplier terms describe free supplier self-assessment and optional carbon-accounting features, with a limited supply-chain-management trial. That is different from saying the enterprise buyer's programme is free. WOP has reviewed public documentation without opening an account or testing the software.

Members receive the assessment below against all eight WOP criteria, including data quality, supplier permissions and the difference between a better estimate and an actual reduction.
