Daato: vendor at a glance and WOP member assessment

What is Daato? Daato is sustainability-management software, now part of EQS Group. The acquisition announcement is dated 11 December 2024, and its current imprint identifies Daato Technologies GmbH in Berlin. WOP assesses the procurement-relevant Supply Chain Risk module, rather than the whole EQS portfolio.

What the module does. The supplier-risk page describes initial risk screening, supplier questionnaires or audits, suggested preventative and remedial actions, media monitoring, grievance handling and reporting. WOP places this scope in supplier sustainability risk and due-diligence workflow control.

Useful published figures. Daato states more than 40 country risk indices and 120 product risk factors for initial screening. It also reports supplier acceptance above 80% in its questionnaire section. The page does not provide the sample, period or detailed acceptance definition. Those are coverage and participation claims, not evidence of risk-detection accuracy or resolved supplier issues.

Where AI fits. Daato's AI page describes document extraction, emission-factor search and report drafting across the wider sustainability platform. The supplier-risk page describes AI-enhanced reporting. These descriptions do not establish autonomous decisions to approve, reject or terminate a supplier.

Evidence and commercial access. The reviewed pages offer demos without numerical module prices. They describe legal alignment and review, but WOP has not inspected an underlying audit report or used the product. An ELTEMATE partnership announcement supports the existence of a technology partnership; it does not prove that a particular buyer's due-diligence process is complete.
