Vendor at a glance

What is Deducta? Deducta is procurement data-intelligence software for organisations with fragmented spend across systems and business units. Its website terms identify Deducta Limited, registered in England and Wales. WOP assesses its spend analysis, supplier normalisation and associated initiative tracking.

What it does. The platform brings together exported data, groups supplier records, identifies potential improvements and connects them to projects. Users can ask questions in plain language. WOP places it primarily in spend intelligence, with supporting analytical records and project coordination.

Useful published specifications. Deducta's data-ingestion page states a minimum of four input fields: currency, spend amount, date and supplier name. It claims processing of more than one million rows per hour, initial results within days and a typical first implementation of three to four weeks, including validation. These are provider statements; processing speed is not classification accuracy or a guaranteed deployment timetable.

Its supplier-normalisation page describes an enrichment database of more than 300,000 suppliers, parent–subsidiary relationships and reviewer overrides. Database size does not establish coverage or correct matching for a particular buyer.

Where AI fits. Deducta describes contextual classification, external supplier research and natural-language analysis. Its pages also explicitly describe people reviewing classifications and mappings. The reviewed material does not establish autonomous supplier negotiation, award or payment.

Evidence and commercial access. Public pages offer a demo without numerical subscription prices. WOP has reviewed the public material, rather than used the software. The homepage's example spend figures and opportunity amounts are product illustrations, not evidence of customer savings. Implementation and outcome claims need to be read within that evidence limit.

Members receive the assessment below against all eight WOP criteria, including where classification, supplier identity and savings attribution can change the conclusions.
