What is Fairmarkit? A sourcing platform that collects requests, recommends suppliers, runs competitive events and supports awards alongside existing purchasing systems. This assessment focuses on RFQ sourcing and its documented automation controls. Buyer guide.
Where does it sit? WOP classifies the assessed offer as tactical sourcing, primarily workflow and control, with execution and intelligence as overlapping roles. It can act on an event and send award data back to a purchasing application; that does not establish that every award automatically creates an authorised purchase order.
What can be automated? The current auto-send guide limits eligibility to qualifying events created through integrations. Manual events need manual sending. Auto-award uses configured weighted criteria and requires an integration that returns data to the purchasing application. What does supplier confidence mean? The documented score predicts whether a supplier will respond to an invitation. It is not a certification of quality, capacity, creditworthiness or delivery performance. Supplier recommendations.
What customer data is available? An anonymous manufacturing case reports 55% shorter time to award and approximately $15 million in savings against $285 million baseline spend. A separate anonymous mining case reports a sourcing timeline falling from 66 to 12 days, approximately 82% shorter, and nearly 4,000 events in 2024. What are the material limits? The AI Negotiations guide is explicitly labelled Beta. Individual entitlements, live approval enforcement, integration recovery and realised savings have not been verified here.
