Graphite Connect's distinctive idea is that a supplier should maintain reusable information once and share it with connected buyers. The important question is how that shared information becomes an approved relationship in each buyer's business.
Vendor at a glance
What is Graphite Connect? Supplier management software built around supplier-managed network profiles. This assessment covers onboarding, shared supplier information, validation and the associated AI capabilities. It does not assess every SRM or guided-intake feature. Network model, Onboarding.
What work does it support? Collecting and reusing supplier information, coordinating due diligence, validating changes and passing records into connected systems. WOP classifies this scope as supplier management, primarily a record role, with workflow/control and intelligence as overlaps.
What is the network-speed claim? Graphite advertises one to three days for onboarding active network suppliers. This is a defined subset, rather than an established completion time for every new supplier or every buyer approval process. Network figures.
What validation is described? The vendor describes tax, banking and sanctions checks, and authorisation by two unique profile administrators for critical data changes. Its validation page mentions both 90-day sanctions checks and real-time or continuous monitoring. The reviewed material does not reconcile those descriptions into one verified schedule. Validation and controls.
What customer data is available? The vendor-published Wenger account reports average onboarding falling from more than 200 days to 50 days. A separate callout says 81% reduction, but the exact starting average needed to reproduce that percentage is not supplied. Columbia Sportswear's account reports three to eight months, then 60 days, 45 days and eventually less than 30 days; its headline says 85%. These remain customer-reported results. Wenger case, Columbia case.
What evidence comes directly from customers? UCSF's current department guide makes Graphite registration mandatory for new PO-based suppliers from 26 February 2026, with specified exclusions. Its supplier guide describes review before connection and review of subsequent changes. Intel's earlier transition page also explains reuse of supplier information with other buyers.
