Last week I was at DPW Amsterdam, and it was genuinely one of the most fun and busiest events that I have had. I think of DPW as being the epicentre of procurement. I really do think it's a place where forward thinkers in the space can get together, can ideate, can converse, can meet new people, new vendors, and really tease out what is possible.

I wrote a piece about this over on the Pactum website. I think if you didn't get to go, it's perfect. Have a look. I shared all my views there rather than repeat them here. In short, if you care about procurement, you care about the direction of travel, you care about technology and how it's going to help us do even more in procurement. I think you want to get in next year.

Right now, I'm just talking aloud using Wispr Flow to get my thoughts onto a page very quickly in between meetings, and it can really start like that. I think often it's a barrier that we think this is going to take so much longer than it really does. The reality is, once you get going and get in some sort of flow with it, you'll normally find a reason to return.

I would encourage as many of you as possible to get started as a creator, because what I can say is I've only had the most positive outcomes come from this. Although I like to kind of de-influence myself now and hide from the public eye a bit more, I still get a tonne of value out of it.
