Ironclad at a glance

What it does: Ironclad manages contract creation, review, signature, storage and post-signature work. This assessment covers its procurement contracting use case, including AI-assisted review and obligations. Ironclad.

Who it serves: Procurement and legal teams handling supplier agreements, business requesters, contract administrators and people responsible for signed commitments.

WOP category: Contract lifecycle management. Primary role: contract record, with workflow/control and intelligence overlap. It can connect to the wider procurement process. That does not make it a complete source-to-pay assessment.

Advertised capabilities: Configurable contract workflows, review against approved positions, linked agreement families, searchable contract records, renewal briefs and obligation tracking. Contract creation, procurement, repository, fulfilment.

Named customer evidence: Root Insurance reports roughly 20% more procurement throughput without adding legal headcount. Rodan + Fields reports simple system administration changes falling from 3–4 weeks to 3–4 minutes; this is not a contract-cycle-time statistic. Both accounts are published by Ironclad and have not been independently validated by WOP. Root Insurance, Rodan + Fields.

Integration and pricing: Ironclad distinguishes native integrations, iPaaS connections and public APIs. Its pricing page offers a custom quote and says some integrations cost extra. A comparable total cost and current agent entitlements were not established. Integrations, pricing.

Research basis: Public-source desk research, 11 October 2026, WOP methodology 2.0. No WOP hands-on test, observed demo or independent outcome validation. The vendor describes human review and existing permissions for AI; WOP has not tested those controls. Ironclad AI.
