Your employees are connecting AI to everything. Now what?

ChatGPT and Claude don't just answer questions anymore. Employees are connecting them directly to Notion, Linear, Jira, and the rest of your stack. The AI can read, write, and take actions on company data. Most IT and security teams have no visibility into any of it.

Harmonic Security Connectors changes that. It sits inline with every AI-to-app connection, so you see each call, control what data moves, and block destructive actions before they happen. Employees notice nothing different.

Hey {{first_name}}

A quick diary note before this week’s pieces.

I’ll be at Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE: The London Summit on 8 and 9 September. I’ll also be at DPW Amsterdam from 30 September to 1 October, and I’ll be in Amsterdam for pretty much the entire week.

If you’re at either event, or you’ll just be nearby, hit reply and let me know. We can try and connect.

I'm also launching a survey. This has already been completed by so many of you, so thank you if you have done this, but we're trying to create an independent water procurement publication which really assesses the state of procurement as we get towards the end of 2026 and move into 2027.

Ideally, I would love to do these at least twice a year, ideally each quarter. Just bear with me. I'm a solo outfit here working on this in my very limited spare time, but if you could take part and you could complete it, it'd be great.

We're going to do some really cool stuff with this. There will be a webinar that I will host. I'll run through it all with you. You'll get early access to the final report. No vendors will be part of this. It will not go through Pactum or anything like that to do with my day job. It's completely independent

MEMBERS ONLY.

Procurement is entering an age of discovery.

Most procurement technology still helps us raise requests, route tasks, and move work between people. My latest member piece looks at what changes when the technology starts completing more of that work, and what that could mean for procurement teams, operating models, and careers.

Validating supplier claims in minutes.

On 10 September, I’m running a live webinar at Pactum with Paul Jackson. We’ll show how AI agents can validate supplier price increase claims against contracts, commodity indices, freight costs, and live market data, then help draft an evidence-backed response.

If unsupported increases are arriving faster than your team can properly challenge them, this one is worth joining.

Can’t make it live? Register anyway and we’ll send you the recording.

Procurement AI: 10 Skills You Need By 2030.

A practical breakdown of the capabilities procurement professionals need to build as more execution work shifts to technology.

See you in London, Amsterdam, or the replies.
