The Wire is wop.'s short-take format. One story, the wop. read on what it means, and one signal to watch. The original announcement is linked below.

What happened. Omnea announced its Agentic Operating System on 28 September, combining a Context Engine with agents across intake, sourcing, contracting, third-party risk and supplier management.

What it actually means. Procurement loses useful knowledge every time the reason behind an approval stays in someone's inbox. Giving agents access to those decisions could reduce repeated questions and help them prepare better work, provided a one-off exception does not quietly become the rule. The important distinction is between remembering what happened and knowing which policy, permission or commercial constraint should govern the next request.

What to watch. Whether customer deployments over the next six months show fewer repeated corrections while keeping changes to agent behaviour traceable and outdated decisions out of current recommendations.
