Hey Procurement Legends,
I took last week off and typically got a little sick. The shift from Summer to Autumn has caught me off guard!
I also shifted from my iPhone to the Google Pixel 10!
Meanwhile, as I relaxed and planned, I took the plunge with a new Substack project that many of you will likely find extremely valuable if you want to succeed in any knowledge-based work.
I’ve been building in the background for a couple of years with this, including launching it softly on LinkedIn a while ago before deploying a one reverse card on this. Anyway, there’s no content there yet, but I’d love to see any of you over there for when I start writing!
I wanted to share with you three amazing resources this week, including an event I’m taking part in within the APAC region in two weeks.
Let’s go!
is an incredible supply chain resource that you should all add to your weekly reading list.
We must build AI for people; not to be a person - as we come to grips with what AI means for us in Procurement. There are broader, more philosophical, and human questions that need to be answered.
Last year, I sat down with Luke Tomlinson and recorded this banger of a podcast! Definitely worth a listen:
Risk-First, Audit-Ready: How Police Bank Unified Vendor Management with Gatekeeper

I’ll be joined by Bradley, Procurement and Supplier Management Lead, at Police Bank, to talk about a range of topics on how he and Police Bank unified vendor management.
If you cannot make the event live, RSVP anyway and check out the recording I’ll send after the event.
See you next week,
Daniel
