The Wire is wop.'s short-take format. One story from the procurement-AI field, the wop. read on what it actually means, and a single signal to watch. The press release is linked at the bottom if you want the rest.

What happened. SailPoint launched Agentic Fabric. A platform that identifies and governs every AI agent across the enterprise from one place.

What it actually means. Three gaps have been sitting unnamed in procurement for the last eighteen months. AI agents in production typically have no owner. Practitioners are starting to think about human-and-agent org structures but have no way to track them. And procurement teams are buying agents, or SaaS capable of creating them, without understanding the variables they're actually evaluating. SailPoint just named all three and pitched one answer.

What to watch. Whether the rest of the identity platforms (Okta, CyberArk, Ping) move in the same direction within six months. If they do, you're watching a category being born in real time that you’re likely be procuring at some point.
