What happened. Pactum is demonstrating a Requisition Alignment Agent that checks every Coupa requisition against procurement policy, contract terms, supporting documents, pricing and rate cards before it progresses.
What it actually means. Procurement intake is usually treated as the point where work enters a queue. An agent changes it into a continuous commercial-control layer.
The agent can check completeness, classification, compliance and contract alignment on every request. Procurement retains the decisions that require judgement. The review work happens before the request becomes a purchase order, rather than after poor information has already moved downstream.
The agent does the review work. The professional makes the call.
What to watch. Whether requisition alignment becomes a standard layer above P2P platforms rather than another feature buried inside them.
Disclosure. Daniel works at Pactum. The editorial view is his own.
